Sussex House

Sussex House had a problem. The hot water heating system was originally built with all the piping running under the first floor concrete slab where the lobby and several retail shops were located. These pipes leaked so badly, the boiler could not hold water. Shutting down the first floor was not an option, and heat would be needed in the building within two months. Cogenic designed and installed separate heating and cooling systems for the 52 units, providing them with independent temperature control before heating was required.
